Rule checks are an assist, not a guarantee — league rules vary and you still confirm the final card. And scores are entered on TennisLink as always; Court Squad complements it rather than replacing it.
Switching your team over
You can move mid-season. The import brings this season's results and any availability already entered on TennisLink along, so you pick up where you are. Your players don't need to install anything for you to start — the roster, schedule and results are in the moment you connect, and players join by tapping the text you send them, one at a time, whenever they get to it. If your RSVPs live in a spreadsheet or another app, send the file to support@courtsquad.us and it gets moved over for you, free.
Court Squad is in its first full season and is shaped by the captains using it. Requests go to the person who built it, and they've been shipping within days. If something is missing for your team, say so.
Questions
Is there a free app for USTA team captains?
Yes. Court Squad is free for captains and players — no per-team fees, no paywalled features, no ads. It imports your season from TennisLink and handles availability, lineups, results, home-match info and team chat.
Do my players all have to install the app?
Not for you to start. The roster, schedule and results are in the moment you connect. Players join by tapping the text you send them; anyone who hasn't joined yet still shows on your roster and in your season grid.
Does it replace TennisLink or the USTA Team Management tool?
No. Scores are still entered on TennisLink, and Court Squad keeps syncing results and ratings from there. It adds what TennisLink doesn't do well on a phone: RSVPs with reminders, lineups with rule checks, home-match info and team chat.
Can I switch mid-season?
Yes. Results posted so far and availability already entered on TennisLink come over with the schedule. RSVPs kept in a spreadsheet or another app can be moved for you on request, free.
Does the lineup tool guarantee my lineup is legal?
No tool can. Court Squad checks line-strength order and combined-NTRP limits and flags problems as you build, which catches the common mistakes. You still confirm the final card against your league's rules.
What about my USTA password?
You sign in once on the real TennisLink site — Court Squad never sees or stores your USTA password.
Can I run more than one team?
Yes. Import each team from TennisLink and switch between them from the team name at the top of the app.
